I believe that world-class Infrastructure is a prerequisite for the Industrial development of any State. The Government of Kerala now has an ambitious mission to build a strong network of Infrastructure including highways, waterways, public transport, air connectivity, electricity and digital communication of global standards. I am happy that our efforts have yielded tangible results.

The Government is committed to ensure Ease-of-Doing Business for investors and in order to materialise ‘Single Window Clearance’, a new law has been enacted.

I am sure that this would create a hassle- free atmosphere for investors. KINFRA’s efforts to facilitate Industrial development by setting up state-of-the-art Industrial parks are commendable and will go a long way in making Kerala the favoured destination for investors.

Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) was set up by an Act of State Legislature in February 1993, to accelerate Industrial development of the State by providing Infrastructure facilities for Industries. KINFRA has successfully completed more than 24 Industrial Parks in Kerala. It has been instrumental in assisting many budding entrepreneurs in setting up their business in KINFRA Industrial Parks.

KINFRA, the Industrial Catalyst of the State, stepping into the 25th year of service in Infrastructure development has been making a conscious effort for the Industrial Infrastructure development, especially in backward regions of the State. The KINFRA has set up Industrial parks, Standard Design Factories with ‘Plug-n-Play’ facility for MSME in the State, providing all Infrastructure facilities for entrepreneurs to start industry in the thrust sectors identified by the Government.
