New IT Complex Handed Over to Tata Elxsi by KINFRA
KINFRA has handed over 1.17 lakh square feet of built-up space, developed across nine floors at its park in Kazhakkoottam, to Tata Elxsi. The formal handover was carried out by Industries Minister P. Rajeeve on 23 February 2026.
Earlier, in April 2022, KINFRA had delivered the first IT building at the KINFRA Film & Video Park to Tata Elxsi. Constructed at a cost of ₹50 crore, the facility has a total built-up area of 2.17 lakh sq. ft., where approximately 2,000 employees are currently working.
Encouraged by Tata Elxsi’s expansion plans and continued interest, KINFRA undertook the construction of an additional IT complex. The foundation stone for the new building was laid on 17 May 2023, with an initial completion timeline of 36 months. Demonstrating efficiency in execution, the project has been completed in just 32 months and formally handed over to the company.
The new nine-floor IT complex offers a built-up area of 1.77 lakh sq. ft., developed in accordance with green building standards and equipped with modern amenities. The facility is expected to generate employment for approximately 2,500 professionals.
